Business Terms

Commercial terms, minimum order quantity, lead time, payment, warranty and documentation for RONEN DISPLAY industrial TFT LCD and capacitive touch module supply.

In short: we are a factory-direct manufacturer, not a broker. Standard models ship from stock with 0 MOQ; custom projects run from prototype to mass production. All contracts, invoices and payment accounts are issued by our own production base — never by a third party.

1. Who enters into the contract

RONEN DISPLAY is the brand of RONGEN DISPLAY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, which designs, manufactures and supplies industrial TFT LCD and capacitive touch modules. Its overseas enquiry desk is in Shenzhen and its production base is in Zhaoqing, Guangdong, China. Enquiries, technical documentation and commercial terms are handled in Shenzhen; production, quality control and shipment originate in Zhaoqing.

RONEN DISPLAY is a factory-direct manufacturer of industrial TFT LCD and capacitive touch display modules. We are not a broker, not an agent and not a trading intermediary. We operate our own production base, so the specification you sign off is the specification we build to.

2. Legal entity, invoicing and payment account

Sales contracts, commercial invoices and the receiving bank account are issued by RONGEN DISPLAY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED — the entity that manufactures the goods. No trading company is interposed between you and the factory, and payment is never requested to a personal account or to an unrelated entity.

For bank details, beneficiary name and tax documentation, contact [email protected] quoting your enquiry number. We confirm the beneficiary name in writing before any payment; if it differs from the invoice issuer, we ask for your written confirmation before proceeding.

The beneficiary name of our bank account is identical to the invoice issuer (RONGEN DISPLAY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED) — your payment-compliance check passes on the first comparison.

We welcome verification: third-party factory audits (TÜV SÜD, SGS, BV or your own team), live video tours, and direct certificate-number checks with the issuing bodies — see the About page for details.

3. Minimum order quantity

0 MOQ for standard models. Any quantity from one piece is accepted for catalogue and in-stock models — you pay for the modules you need, not case quantities.

Custom sizes, interfaces or touch constructions carry an engineering MOQ, quoted case by case and typically between 10 and 100 pieces depending on tooling, interface customisation and the number of layers.

4. Lead time

ScopeLead time
Standard in-stock models (1–999 pieces)Dispatch within 24–48 hours, typically 5–7 business days door to door
Quantities from 1,000 pieces7–15 business days
Custom interface / cover glass / touch, no tooling20–30 business days
Custom size requiring new tooling (LCM, polariser, touch)35–60 business days; sample 5–10 business days

Lead time is counted from written confirmation of the drawing, not from the date of enquiry. If your project has a fixed qualification deadline, tell us at enquiry stage so we can confirm feasibility before you commit.

5. Payment terms

Bank charges outside China are for the buyer's account. We never request payment to third-party accounts; see section 2.

6. Incoterms and shipping

EXW (Zhaoqing or Shenzhen), FOB (Shenzhen or Shantou), CIF and DAP are available. Air freight for samples and small quantities, sea or air freight for volume production. We ship on the Incoterm named in your order; if none is specified, our default is FOB Shenzhen.

Packaging is industrial grade: anti-static bag, fitted foam insert, matched carton, palletised for sea freight. Shipping documents include packing list, commercial invoice and Bill of Lading; certificates of origin and test reports are supplied on request.

7. Warranty and DOA

All modules carry a 12-month DOA warranty from the invoice date. If a module fails within that period through a manufacturing or component defect, we replace it or credit it in full — you provide the failed sample and, where needed, a short video showing the symptom.

Failures caused by customer modification, mechanical stress, liquid ingress, operation outside the published specification, or use of an incorrect controller board are not covered. Warranty claims are settled by replacement shipment, not by repair at your site.

8. Lifetime supply commitment

We hold deep inventory on standard models and we commit to long-term supply. When a model approaches end of life we give at least 12 months' notice, with a last-time-buy opportunity and, on request, a form-fit-and-function alternative that keeps your tooling and enclosure unchanged.

For customers who have completed qualification on a specific model, we support a re-order route even after the model leaves the active catalogue.

9. Documentation and customs clearance

On request we supply:

Certificates are issued in the name of the manufacturing entity that holds them, and we state this openly rather than presenting another company's certificate as our own. If your audit requires the certificate holder to match the contracting party exactly, tell us before ordering so we can assess what is available.

10. Intellectual property and tooling

Your drawing, your brand and your application remain yours. We do not resell your design and do not publish it as a reference for third parties. Custom tooling and fixtures are quoted separately and, on request, amortised over the order volume; they become your property once fully paid.

We do not use your name or your end product as a case study without written permission.

11. Order changes and cancellation

Cancellation or a change in quantity is agreed with you in writing before production starts. Once custom tooling has begun, the tooling cost is non-refundable. Custom-made modules cannot be resold and are therefore non-cancellable once production starts — we confirm this in writing before we begin.

12. Limitation of liability and governing law

Our liability is limited to the invoiced value of the affected line item. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of production, lost profit or recall costs, except in cases of wilful misconduct or where mandatory law provides otherwise.

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes are first addressed by negotiation; if negotiation fails, the matter is submitted to the arbitration institution agreed in the order acknowledgement. The agreed jurisdiction does not affect mandatory consumer rights in your country.

13. Contact and order acknowledgement

Every order is confirmed in writing before production. The acknowledgement states the model, quantity, price, Incoterm, lead time, warranty start date and the exact legal entity shown on the invoice. Please check it carefully — specifications, tolerances, brightness and interface are binding only once they appear in it.
