7.84″ AMOLED Strip Display Module — 600×1920, 600 nits

7.84 inch AMOLED display module, 600×1920 resolution
7.84″ AMOLED strip module, 600×1920 format, 600 nits, on-cell touch.

The 7.84″ AMOLED module is the strip format of the line: a 600×1920 native resolution at 294 PPI with 600 nits typical luminance, a MIPI interface and integrated on-cell touch. The specified operating temperature range is -20℃ to +70℃. It is the option for long, narrow display windows rather than conventional handset-shaped screens.

A long strip format, not a handset screen

A 600×1920 matrix is close to 1:3.2 in width to height. That shape is chosen when the product has a tall narrow window — a control column, an instrument rail, a rack edge or a shelf-edge strip — and a 16:9 panel would waste width or force an oversized enclosure. At 294 PPI, text and icons remain sharp at the short viewing distances typical of these panels. The other three AMOLED sizes use portrait formats for handheld bodies; all four are compared on the AMOLED range page.

600 nits in shared and bright spaces

Typical luminance is 600 nits, the highest specified value in this four-size line. It is the size to shortlist when the panel sits under retail or workshop lighting, or when the viewer reads it from a step away rather than holding it. Contrast, colour settings and dimming behaviour are matched to the host application; anti-reflection or anti-glare cover treatments are selected per project.

Mounting and mechanical stack-up

Strip modules are usually integrated into a fixed enclosure, so mounting points, bezel opening, FPC exit direction and connector access matter more than handset thickness. Outline, module thickness, cover-lens geometry and bonding are project-specific and are confirmed against your mechanical drawing. We do not publish a generic outline for this format. For non-rectangular or cut-out requirements, see the special-shape display range.

Interface, touch and environmental range

The display interface is MIPI and the touch layer is on-cell capacitive. Controller selection, lane count, touch report format and FPC routing follow the host board. The published operating temperature range is -20℃ to +70℃; start-up behaviour and continuous-duty profile for unattended installations are reviewed with your engineering team. If the host uses another interface, we map the closest AMOLED size or a TFT LCD alternative from the standard catalog.

Typical applications

The authorised application list covers portable smart terminals, handheld control devices and compact interactive devices; handheld industrial terminals, portable HMI and compact control panels; portable diagnostic and monitoring devices; smart-home panels, access control and IoT terminals; plus portable testing devices and field-operation terminals. For the strip format specifically, the long vertical window also fits narrow-layout control panels and instrumentation displays. Technology background is in What is an AMOLED display.

Sourcing and next steps

Quantities, packaging, inspection criteria and delivery schedules are confirmed per project. Send the bezel opening, target volume, host interface and viewing environment, and our team will reply with the matching option and the next engineering steps.
