Panel, resolution and form factor

The panel uses TN; the native resolution is 480x272.

Active area 95.04x53.86 mm sits inside an outline of 105.50x67.20x2.95 mm — the difference is the bezel, driver area and connector allowance your mechanical drawing must reserve.

Backlight brightness and viewing conditions

Typical luminance is 250 cd/m². At this level the module is suited to indoor, enclosed or low-glare environments — indoor office lighting, control cabinets, or products inside a housing. For daylight-readable or outdoor use you would need a high-brightness variant or a transflective / sunlight-readable panel instead.

MCU interface and display driver IC

The module is driven over RGB 24bit 40PIN. This is the electrical interface between your MCU and the panel, and it determines two things: how many pins and how much board area your PCB needs, and how fast the screen can be refreshed.

A parallel RGB interface needs more pins and trace count but delivers high throughput, which is appropriate when you need fast frame updates or video.

Display driver IC: ST7282A. Knowing the driver lets your firmware team pull the correct initialisation sequence and timing parameters — this is the usual starting point when bringing up a new panel.

Touch capability

This configuration is without touch — display only. That suits products where input comes from buttons, a rotary encoder, a keypad or a remote control, and it keeps the module thinner, lower-cost and free of touch-panel calibration work. If your product needs on-screen interaction, ask for the capacitive-touch variant of this size.

Environmental range and storage

Operating temperature is -20 °C to 70 °C — the panel must be within this range during operation. Specify enclosure ventilation and consider thermal rise from electronics inside the housing, because internal temperature can exceed ambient.

Storage range is -30 °C to 80 °C, which matters for shipping, warehousing and unpowered periods — particularly relevant for products shipped through hot climates or stored in containers.

Integration and ordering notes

Every model in this series is held in permanent stock, so samples and production volumes ship from the same bin and the specification does not change between them. Stock items typically ship within 24–48 hours; order quantities and OEM/volume pricing are confirmed per project.

If your project needs something the standard configuration does not cover — a different interface, touch type, brightness range, backlight life or outline dimension — it is worth asking for a custom quotation. Adjusting an interface or outline within an existing family is usually far cheaper and faster than starting a new module from scratch, and the factory-direct route means you deal with the manufacturer rather than a trading company.
