Panel, resolution and form factor

The panel uses IPS; the native resolution is 480x272.

Active area 95.04x53.86 mm sits inside an outline of 105.50x67.20x4.10 mm — the difference is the bezel, driver area and connector allowance your mechanical drawing must reserve.

Backlight brightness and viewing conditions

Typical luminance is 400 cd/m². That suits indoor products with normal ambient light and semi-outdoor enclosures that avoid direct sun. It is a common specification for meter and instrument panels, and for indoor kiosks with controlled brightness. Direct sunlight would still wash the image out, so outdoor-facing products should consider a high-brightness or sunlight-readable option.

The panel is IPS, which keeps colours and viewing angles stable when viewed off-axis — useful where the screen is not directly facing the user, such as angled panels, handheld instruments or equipment mounted at a slight tilt.

MCU interface and display driver IC

The module is driven over RGB 24bit 40PIN. This is the electrical interface between your MCU and the panel, and it determines two things: how many pins and how much board area your PCB needs, and how fast the screen can be refreshed.

A parallel RGB interface needs more pins and trace count but delivers high throughput, which is appropriate when you need fast frame updates or video.

Display driver IC: ST7282A. Knowing the driver lets your firmware team pull the correct initialisation sequence and timing parameters — this is the usual starting point when bringing up a new panel.

Touch capability

This configuration includes resistive touch. It works with any finger, glove or stylus and responds to pressure rather than capacitance, so it suits environments where gloves are required or where the panel may be behind a thick protective window. Multi-touch and wet-finger behaviour are limited compared with capacitive.

Environmental range and storage

Operating temperature is -20 °C to 70 °C — the panel must be within this range during operation. Specify enclosure ventilation and consider thermal rise from electronics inside the housing, because internal temperature can exceed ambient.

Storage range is -30 °C to 80 °C, which matters for shipping, warehousing and unpowered periods — particularly relevant for products shipped through hot climates or stored in containers.

Integration and ordering notes

Every model in this series is held in permanent stock with MOQ 0, so samples and production quantities ship from the same bin and the specification does not change between them. Stock items typically ship within 24–48 hours.

If your project needs something the standard configuration does not cover — a different interface, touch type, brightness range, backlight life or outline dimension — it is worth asking for a custom quotation. Adjusting an interface or outline within an existing family is usually far cheaper and faster than starting a new module from scratch, and the factory-direct route means you deal with the manufacturer rather than a trading company.
