Packing & Final QC for TFT LCD Modules
The last manufacturing steps are where a finished module is checked one final time and protected for the journey. Cover inspection, any optical bonding, accessory assembly, OQC final control, wrapping and packing decide whether the unit that arrives matches the unit that left the line. This page covers the final sequence and why packing is a quality step, not an afterthought.
The Final Sequence
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Cover inspection & cleaning | Final surface check and clean |
| Optical bonding (if specified) | Cover lens bonded to panel and verified |
| Accessory assembly | Brackets, cables or accessories fitted |
| OQC final quality control | Outgoing inspection against the acceptance plan |
| Wrapping & packing | Static-safe wrap, cushioning and outer carton |
Where Quality Is Won
OQC is the final gate: it confirms the unit meets the acceptance plan before it ships. Packing is the gate against transit damage — a glass-heavy panel cracked in a poorly cushioned carton is a field failure with the same cost as a manufacturing defect, so the wrapping and carton are specified, not improvised.
Why a Buyer Should Care
Ask a supplier about OQC coverage and packing specification for your shipping mode (air vs sea, single vs pallet). A disciplined OQC and a defined pack are what keep arrival quality consistent.
Matching Standard Panels
Every standard module passes final QC and packing. These sizes are frequent subjects of packing qualification:
- RG-T043BPSA-01 — 4.3″ 480x272 IPS TFT LCD Module
- RG-T070BAHA-02 — 7.0″ 1024x600 1000 cd/m² IPS TFT
- RG-T185BFHWA-02 — 18.5″ 1920x1080 1500 cd/m² IPS TFT

Frequently Asked Questions
What is OQC?
OQC is outgoing quality control — the final inspection against the agreed acceptance plan before a unit is packed. It is the last human and instrument gate before shipment, distinct from the in-process tests.
Why is packing part of quality?
A perfect module cracked in transit is a field failure all the same. The wrapping, cushioning and outer carton decide whether a unit arrives in the condition it left the line, especially for glass-heavy panels.
What is the optical bonding step here?
Where a module is shipped optically bonded (cover lens bonded to the panel), that bonding is completed and verified here, before final inspection and packing.
